James Suckling 94-95 Points: "Very well-made, showing warm bread and graphite to the darker fruit. Not quite dense, this is balanced, juicy and supple in the center, showing a mix of black and red berries and cedar in the finish. Medium- to full-bodied, focused and nicely structured. It has fine, firm tannins and a long, nuanced finish. Classic Bordeaux without any sweetness."
Jane Anson 94 Points:"Excellent quality, well defined, you see the grip of the terroir here, and the floral edge of Cabernet and Carmenère, with its spicy side, and beautiful lift. Clearly needs time to fully open, this has the cassis, cigar box and leather feel of a great old school Pauillac. Lovely. Harvest 24 September to 6 October. 3.72 pH. 55% new oak."
