The bouquet starts with dark roasted notes, then shifts to blueberries and blackberries, showing lovely depth, very appealing and quite full-bodied. On the palate, a black-fruited bomb with cassis and again lots of blueberries, soft, fleshy tannins, and a wonderful, lingering finish with plenty of licorice and black pepper nuances. Certainly once again one of the great values, reliable year after year. A good and, with an average yield of 50 hl/ha, also very large harvest!
